Hi my name's Trevor and I'm one of the trusty band of volunteers who
install the lighting scheme every year. During the year we use lots of
bits and pieces to get the job done and a lot of this paraphernalia can be
found hanging from our waists on Sunday morning. With this in mind, over
the coming weeks, I will be posting articles here about my tackle.
The Ladder
 |
 | I guess that this is about our most essential piece of kit. |
 | Without them we would not be able to get anything up, so to
speak. |
 | Ours are quite long and it takes two people to move them from
one place to another. |
 | They are also extendable to enable us to go up even further. |
|
The reflective jacket
 |
 | This is so that you can see us coming. |
 | It keeps us safe. |
 | They're very yellow |
|
The hardhat
 |
 | This is our protective helmet. |
 | It protects us from things that may fall from above (Which
when your on the roof of A1 is limited to what ever pigeons
decide to give you). |
 | It's rigid and made of plastic. |
 | Bob the builder has one too. |
